Light. Love. Energetic Connection.
I have read that Reiki is translated as meaning Universal Life-force Energy, and that is exactly how it feels to me as I connect with and channel it. I don’t see myself as being the healer, just the conduit for the bright white healing energy of the universe. Energy work should be just that, energizing, deep, grounding and expansive. I often cry when I am doing reiki, and it is not from sadness or pain. The intense energy that flows through me comes out as tears, and I know when I start to cry while doing reiki that I have hit a particularly deep connection. Water, just like clear crystals, contain all of the colours of the chakras so it seems fitting that I would cry while channeling such light and love.
