Raw Hematite with rhodonite, rose quartz, soldered brass chain from Turkey and hammered copper wire.

I found this piece of hematite in the Cottonwood River when I was 22. My dad took me out to teach me how to snorkel for gold, and it was then that I learned that the black sand often found with gold is actually hematite! I found many pieces while we were camping out there and am still using them to this day.
