Clear quartz is known to be programmable. This is why it is used in watches and electronics. It is piezoelectric, pyroelectric, and it can hold and entrain with the energies around it. Because of its ability to be programmed, clear quartz has an endless array of uses and purposes. Anyone can program quartz, it is as simple as sitting with it and holding a thought or intention in your mind. Because of its easy programmability, it is important to regularly cleanse your quartz, as it can pick up on unwanted energies of those around it, or even your own repetitive thoughts that you would rather not manifest. All quartz can be cleansed in many ways, though the quartz which I have held in kelp cannot be cleansed in water the way most others can be. I recommend cleansing with smudge smoke (sage, cedar, sweetgrass, natural tobacco, or other sacred smudge), intention (for this your intention must be clear just as with the programming), placing in a crystal grid or on a generator crystal, and of course reiki or other energy work.

I like to think that these earrings create a torus of energy, pouring from each end, amplified by the salty kelp which holds them and anchored to you via the copper earwires.

Each one individually can be worn as a pendant, and they lock in place so you don’t lose one while you’re wearing them!!
