Kootenay quartz with ochre, pulled by me from a cool mountain river. Full of love and light.

I’m sure this would clean up beautifully, though I love the orange ochre embedded throughout.

The trek in to find these crystals is hard. It takes over an hour or gruelling hiking just to get up the hill and down the ravine into the river below. Just making it there doesn’t mean anything will be found, and I have had several trips where I didn’t really find anything of note, or there was still snow on the sides of the river. This is one of my favourite crystals and like other things, is priced accordingly. I would like nothing more than to keep this on my altar, though if you feel it is calling to you, let me know.
