I recommend cleansing your crystals regularly, with sage or intention, as they are very much like sponges and soak up energy. If you are working towards something specific, it can be good to have that energy building up and all working in the same direction (much like a pendulum that you keep close to strengthen your link). If your crystals aren’t just around you, and the energy is not always positive, they can hold on to those frequencies, and just like your good intentions the energy keeps getting sent back out into the space. If your crystal is in kelp, sage is wonderful for cleansing, as are crystal grids, intention, and earth (though I would recommend buring the crystals in a box or something so the moisture doesn’t get to the kelp too much).
