Kootenay Azeztulite
Kootenay Azeztulite
Handpicked out of a cold fast flowing river in the Kootenays, these quartz crystals most closely resemble azeztulite energy. They hold a clear, cool, high vibration, much like the river they came from. I have found colours ranging from clear to white, yellow to orange and even brown. Most likely due to iron bearing minerals in the area, there is almost an ochre coating on many of them. This crystal appears to be a milky white with deep orange deposits and inclusions. I’ll try to post a better picture of the crystal because it really is quite stunning.
This is one of my larger sage wands, great for daily smudges & rituals, just make sure you have put out the embers because it will keep burning!! I find shells are great for that because if you have the right shape you can just put the end in and it will go out (moon-snail shells are great for this).
The handle is made from Bull-kelp! Wild-harvested on the wild western shores of Vancouver Island, bullkelp is a type of seaweed that grown in huge “forests” all along the coast. Consisting of a root that attaches to something on the bottom of the ocean, like a rock or shell, a bulb that sits on the top of the water with long hairlike fronds gathering sunlight, and an extremely long, tubular whip-like piece of kelp that attaches them. Edible, beautiful, magical, and even vegan. This material dries like leather or rawhide, (I’ve even heard bone) and is easy to work with. Simply place upside down in water when your bundle is done (pull out excess stems), allow to soak and expand, place new bundle or smudge in help handle and allow to dry.
