This rattle is the very embodiment of the ocean. There are not only tiny sacred ocean-smoothed stones on the inside of this rattle, they also grace it’s exterior. Pushed into the kelp by a formidable force, they are now part of the very make up of it. I found this quartz stone in Sooke BC, and the kelp was gathered on one of the other wild westcoast beaches of Vancouver Island.

The sound is crisp and clear, like crashing waves. Let it carry you into the ocean.
