Smoky quartz is the handle that connects the rattle with the Talisman, a sort of two in one kind of thing. I found the raw hematite in the Cottonwood River when I was 22 (15 years ago). The kelp is from Vancouver Island and I’m not totally sure where this crystal is from though it’s been cleansed in full moons and love many times since I received it.
Everything else might be enough to make this rattle work even if it didn’t have a great sound…. But it does. This rattle speaks clearly when you cannot. It hits the higher tones than some of the larger rattles do, but it still crisp and clear.
The kelp on this is fairly thin (which adds to the great sound) and it is more affected by moisture than most so just like the other kelp pieces, it would be best in a dry environment.
